As a part of the Nova Scotia Fiber Arts Festival, the Tidnish Bridge Art Gallery is proud to be hosting a new exhibition, For the Birds: A Girl’s Eye View, from artists Gwen Dixon, Carol McCall, and Kate Sharpe. With their love of birds in mind, three female fiber arts use rug hooking, stitching, needle felting, and wet felting to explore ideas of aging and identity, movement and migration, and to reflect on their memories of these winged wonders. This fiber arts exhibition will be on display at the Tidnish Bridge Art Gallery (3654 Hwy 366, Tidnish Bridge, NS) from August 1 to 8th. An artist reception will be held on Wednesday, August 3 from 2-4 pm at the gallery. Stop by and meet the artists and see their works! The Tidnish Bridge Art Gallery is open from 10-5 every day.
