Visit one of Parrsboro’s local restaurants or shops and then head down the West Bay road to the FORCE Visitor Centre.
You can sit at the one of the picnic table and enjoy a leisurely meal while admiring the natural beauty of Black Rock and the Minas Passage or come with a fresh coffee or tea and have a moment on the viewing deck watching the most powerful tides come in or go out. Look through the viewer you may catch a glimpse of a seal basking in the sun on Black Rock.
Enjoy the Visitor Centre displays with information on the tides, research, environmental monitoring, and marine work being done at Fundy Ocean Research Centre for Energy.
Our staff are also happy to discuss the project, renewable energy, and the local area.
Our facilities are fully accessible, and we can accommodate busses and other large vehicles.
