Overview
This cottage has been designed with quality family time in mind. The beautiful location and comfortable mix of cottage charm and modern amenities, provides an enjoyable family experience in a stunning location.
For larger families or friends who would like to travel together, a pet-friendly ‘sister’ cottage is available on the same property.
The property is directly on River Philip, a tidal river on the Northumberland Strait. High tide is great for swimming and low tide allows for exploring the mud flats. With an east/west frontage, there is an amazing sunrise and sunset on the water every day!
The Blue Cottage has a full washroom, sleeps 7 in 5 beds and 3 bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom is a bunkhouse which is a great place if you have teens who want their own space or a private retreat if two couples are travelling together. The cottage also has a trundle bed for toddlers, if required. Accommodations are limited to a maximum of 5 adults due to bunk bed restrictions.
July and August bookings are full week rentals, Sunday – Sunday.
You can pack light! Included Amenities: WiFi. Smart TV. BBQ and propane. Kitchen utensils, linens, dishes for indoor and outdoor dining, seafood cooking supplies, even coolers, beach blankets and chairs for a trip to the beach. Or sit back and enjoy your coffee on the deck in a thermal mug. We provide games, DVDs and a library of books.
Outside you will find the fire pit with Adirondack chairs, bikes of various sizes, a hammock and a variety of lawn games to enjoy in the large grassy yard. A screen room provides a relaxing location for shady afternoons and an ideal location for card games in the evenings.
Walking distance to a licensed restaurant, lobster pound and Country Market with grocery selection, bakery and ice cream! 6 minutes to the amazing village of Pugwash with quaint shops, farmers market, waterfront boardwalk, cafes and historical sites.
Enjoy provincial parks, beaches, wineries and several golf courses within 30 minutes.
